This final panel looks at matters not sufficiently addressed in the UN Charter and how new institutions and institutional arrangements could ensure that the UN continues to advance for the wellbeing of people and the planet. Speakers will offer reflections on the benefits of the new proposed institutions and the suggested relationships among these institutions. This session will also be an opportunity to share next steps for the effort proposing to renew the UN Charter, and will make the case, again, for why a conference looking at UN Charter Reform is necessary at this moment. Specifically, this session will focus on the Earth System Council, the Parliamentary Assembly, and the relationship between the UNGA/UNPA and the Councils.
