    Binxin Zhang

      Binxin Zhang worked as Assistant Professor of Public International Law at Xiamen University Law School, China; Legal Officer in the International Committee of the Red Cross Regional Delegation for East Asia; and as a trial monitor of the Asia International Justice Initiative Trial Monitoring group, monitoring the Duch case before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. She has been visiting scholar at National Taiwan University, the Australian National University and Sciences Po (Paris) Law School. She holds a PhD in international law from Renmin University of China.

      Binxin Zhang is a core expert on the Woomera Manual on the International Law of Military Space Operations, member of the International Panel on the Regulation of Autonomous Weapons, and an Editorial Board member of the Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies. Her main research areas are public international law, international criminal law, and international humanitarian law. Over the years, however, she has developed an acute interest in interdisciplinary researches and in research areas and themes beyond the law, which finally led her to the decision of pursing a degree in political science. She is now a PhD scholar in political science at Sciences Po Paris.
