Christine Parthemore is Chief Executive Officer of the Council on Strategic Risks and Director of CSR’s Janne E. Nolan Center on Strategic Weapons. She was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University from 2010 to 2012. In 2016 she was a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow in Tokyo. She also served as the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs and has worked for many NGOs, testified before Congress, and contributed to projects with the United Nations. She holds degrees from Ohio State and Georgetown universities.
