Françoise Le Goff

Françoise Le Goff has worked for over 40 years as a program manager then director with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (IFRC) in Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, directly involved in relief operations following natural disasters, epidemics, HIV and AIDS programmes, refugee crises and post war activities and encouraging and influencing colleagues and partners to deliver optimum services to the most vulnerable. Throughout her professional career, Ms. Le Goff has visited some 145 countries and built strong operational partnerships with key stakeholders, including UN agencies, embassies, and regional governmental networks such as SADC and the EU, academia and NGOs. In 2011, Ms. Le Goff became Head of the IFRC Administration Department in Geneva, leading and managing the CHF 59,4 million construction project for the new headquarters in Geneva, using the concept of co-creation with the employees, the local community, and the Swiss authorities. In 2016, she became Senior Adviser for Special Projects and Events and in 2020 the Director of the Global Services Centre in Budapest. She is a Board member of the Ethical Business Building the Future (EBBF), a global learning community engaged in mentoring young professionals and business leaders to apply ethical values and moral leadership in business and civil society.
