John Miller

John Miller is the Program Coordinator for the Global Governance Forum’s Global Catastrophic Risk Initiative and has been a Fellow with the Forum since March 2021. He is a legal consultant based in Washington DC where he counsels Am Law 100, Global 100, and smaller specialty and regional firms on strategy. John graduated cum laude from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2019 with a BS in International Political Economy, for which his thesis examined the interaction between the formal and informal economic sectors in Latin America. He has also completed a certificate program in Diplomacy Studies from the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, with a research focus on the constitutional impact of balancing sovereign policy space with delegation to international institutions. From 2018 to 2019, he served as an Editor-In-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, the School of Foreign Service’s flagship publication.
