Vanita Singh

Dr. Vanita Singh is currently working as Assistant Professor in Economics and Public Policy at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Management (Public Systems) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, and Masters in Public Health from TISS, Mumbai. Prior to joining her PhD programme she has worked in the healthcare IT industry as a functional consultant. She was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Social Medicine and Community Health by UGC in 2013. She is currently working as a co-investigator on multiple projects in the healthcare domain funded by WHO and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. She serves as a mentor at The George Institute (TGI) for Global Health India Health Accelerator Programme. Her research interests include health systems and policy analysis; policy design and implementation; technology and development; telehealth – access, cost and quality; and gender and development.
