John Broome is Emeritus White’s Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of Oxford, and an Honorary Professor at the Australian National University. His PhD is in Economics from MIT, where he was supervised by Duncan Foley. He has served as a Lead Author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. He is the author of Climate Matters: Ethics in a Warming World. Duncan Foley is the Leo Model Professor of Economics at the New School for Social Research in New York.
