Ophelia Bentley

Ophelia Bentley is a freshman at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a concentration in Energy and the Environment. She is interested in the intersection of energy and security policy and how international law and institutions shape global responses to issues such as climate change. She has previously worked as a research intern for the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs at the Department of State and in the congressional office of Representative Kuster. At Georgetown, she is a Mortara Undergraduate Research Fellow, an Editorial Assistant for the Conflict and Security section of the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, and an Outreach Associate with Hatch Tutoring.
