Shady is a strategic communications specialist currently working as a representative of an office of public affairs as well as conducting other corporate communication projects. One of the main objectives of her work is to contribute to the prevalent social discourses that are conducive to the establishment of peace among nations, such as good governance, human rights, the role of media and the importance of the arts.

She has coordinated multiple international educational programs such as the "American Media" program for Beijing Union University and the "International Culture Night 2017" for California State University Fresno. 

She obtained a bachelor's degree in Media, Communications and Journalism with a focus in Public Relations and graduated with honors from the California State University Fresno. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Global Prosperity (ISGP) program.
